Bayreuth AI Association e.V.

Exploring AI. Together.

A place where curiosity meets collaboration. We explore AI through hands-on projects and practical applications.

The Bayreuth AI Association is a student-led initiative at the University of Bayreuth for everyone interested in artificial intelligence. We meet for talks, coding projects and socials.

You don’t need any programming, maths or AI background to join. Ask questions and learn with people who started out the same way. If you’re already experienced, join a coding project, share what you know at a skill-sharing evening, or give a talk yourself.

During the lecture period we meet every other Thursday, 18:00 to 19:30, in building GW I (next to the Mensa). For the exact dates and rooms, see Important dates.

There’s no application process. Just come along when you’re ready. For updates and AI news, join our open WhatsApp group (click here to join) or sign up for our mailing list with this form.

If you come regularly, you can also become an official member, and companies can support us as supporting members: see Join & support.
